About
Built by people who understand planning
Planning professionals shouldn’t have to sit through a sales call to search appeal decisions, read hundreds of PDFs to find relevant precedent, or take an extraction tool’s word for it without seeing the source. So we built the alternative — transparent methodology, self-service access, and arguments traced back to the inspector’s own words.
Who we are

David Robinson
Planning & Domain
David is a RIBA-chartered, ARB-registered architect and listed building specialist. He graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2007, holds an M.Arch and PGDip in Architectural Practice, and completed further study with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB). Based in Bath, he works with Grade I, II and II* listed properties in one of the country’s most demanding planning environments — and maintains a 100% success rate on planning permissions and listed building consents. His process has been highlighted as best practice by a leading conservation body. He brings first-hand knowledge of how planning professionals research, prepare, and argue cases — and what existing tools get wrong.

Philip Hodgson
Product & Data
Phil has spent 15 years in technology and product strategy, building data platforms across fintech, telecoms, and enterprise. He co-founded and scaled a SaaS platform that earned national recognition — featured in The Telegraph and cited in the Prime Minister’s Kruger Report — and has won international awards for digital product work, including from Heineken and Banco Sabadell. He holds an MBA from the University of Bath. Before moving into technology, Phil trained as a landscape architect — an MA in Landscape Architecture and an HND in Landscape Management — and worked on major commercial projects including the largest mixed-use development in London since the Second World War. That background means he didn’t arrive in planning from the outside. He understands the sector, the professionals who work in it, and what they actually need from their tools.
Milk Street Group
Planning Appeals is the first product from Milk Street Group Ltd, a company focused on turning fragmented public planning data into tools professionals can rely on. The name comes from Milk Street in Bath — where Phil and David first met, and where the idea for the company started. More products are on the way.
